The “Whatever it Takes” fund is a way for churches and our local service providers (Pathways of Hope, Coast to Coast Foundation, and Future in Humanity) to collaborate and provide a centralized and shared resources that assist in doing whatever it takes to end someones homelessness.
Most funding to our service providers is tied to grants or other restricted funding that does not allow for some simple and immediate needs and solutions to end someones homelessness.
- Hotel Vouchers
- Bus Passes
- Food Vouchers
- Cost of a new Identification Card
- Reuniting our neighbors who are homeless with family and support wherever they may be
The Whatever it Takes Fund helps our churches and community be good stewards of their resources and partners them with experts to help transform individuals and families and bring long term and permanent solutions.
We assume most churches have a benevolence or “good samaritan” fund that they use to help individuals and families in need. We also assume not everyone is an expert in dealing with all the issues that surround those experiencing homelessness.
We provide a central funding source and data base that is shared amongst our service providers and provides a resource for churches in referring individuals and families for support.
